Curriculum and Modules

The MSc Sport and Exercise Psychology programme combines core taught modules with supervised practical experience and an independent research project. Performance Psychology

Examines performance psychology from both individual and team perspectives, covering personality, cognition, psychological resources, mental toughness, stress responses, and team effectiveness in elite sport environments.

Applied Exercise Psychology

Explores major theoretical and practical issues in applied exercise psychology, including why people may not exercise sufficiently, how to promote physical activity, and when exercise might become unhealthy.

Supervised Experience

Admission Requirements

The MSc Sport and Exercise Psychology is available to applicants with a strong academic background in psychology or a closely related field.
