Curriculum and Modules
The MSc Physician Associate Studies consists of 7 integrated modules totalling 180 credits at Level 7. The second year features rotational clinical placements in hospitals and general practices across North Wales, along with a research project.

Core ModuleProvides an in-depth understanding of normal and abnormal anatomy of the human body, concentrating on knowledge relevant to clinical settings including pathological processes, diagnosis, and therapies.
Pathophysiology for Physician Associates
Core ModuleEnhances knowledge of the functionality of the human body applicable to clinical practice, focusing on physiology in health and disease and the physiological interdependencies underpinning clinical assessment and treatment.
Diagnostics
Core ModuleIntroduces clinically relevant diagnostic science covering commonly used tests in clinical and laboratory settings. The module synergizes with other medical science modules to facilitate enhanced learning essential to the PA role.
