Program Overview: English Literature and Creative Writing at Bangor
This course develops connections between the critical study of English Literature and the creative practice of writing in a variety of forms. Reading Literature: Texts and Contexts
20 creditsA core module introducing you to the critical study of novels, poems, short stories, plays, and films from a range of historical periods and cultural contexts. You will develop essential analytical and interpretive skills.
Writing Fiction: The Novel and Short Story
20 creditsThis module focuses on developing your skills in prose fiction, covering both the novel and short story forms. You will study published works as models while producing your own creative portfolio.
Poetry: Reading and Writing
