This four-year integrated Masters course prepares you for work as a professional electronic engineer specialising in Control and Instrumentation Engineering. Control and instrumentation lies at the heart of many modern industries, from nuclear and renewable power generation to all sorts of manufacturing industries.

Curriculum and Modules

The MEng Control and Instrumentation Engineering curriculum blends core electronic engineering fundamentals with specialised modules in control systems, instrumentation, and power systems. Power Electronics and Drives

Introduces power semiconductor devices, converter topologies, and electric motor drive systems used in renewable energy, power generation, and industrial automation applications.

Digital Signal Processing
