An introduction to research methods that presents a platform for you to engage in both quantitative and qualitative research approaches. The module focuses on data collection and analysis techniques within health and social care settings, preparing you for the dissertation module.

e-Research Methods

An alternative research methods module that enables students to develop competence in digital and electronic research approaches. This module equips you with the skills to critically appraise health and social care research using contemporary methodologies.

Dissertation

A supervised research project culminating in a 20,000-word dissertation. This module provides the opportunity to complete a piece of research or scholarly enquiry related to your chosen MSc pathway, demanding a high level of student autonomy and independent enquiry.
